I am Cristina Geertse, a practicing therapist, mediator, and conflict resolution specialist, writing erotica is on the other side of the brain for me. Author of academic and non-fiction titles, About Face, is my first erotic novella, with a sequel in the works! I am an Australian native, who has made Canada my home. I am a mother, and grandmother. I go where the world and opportunities take me.
Why Did I Write About Face
As a couple and sexual therapist, I have observed that many client resources are very mechanical manuals about sex. I wanted something that might activate their 'erotic imagination' I have a collection of classic erotica - Anaiis Nin, Henry Miller, Nicholas Baker, and thought I might have something to add. I was motivated to capture some of my own experiences in a romantic and erotic relationship during the 1980s. Much of the connection evolved through letter writing.
